ONE OF THE GOOD PEOPLE
Yesterday I had the privilege to pick up a nice young lady, Ella, at the airport and shuttle her downtown.
So, since she was my captive audience, I asked if she had visited Charleston before? Our entire ride downtown was full of historic stories about Charleston, some suggestions on restaurants and bars; I even had time to tell her a ghost story about Lavina and Edgar.
I enjoyed entertaining Ella, as she seemed to really enjoy the back-and-forth stories and questions. By the time she stepped out of my car (Exit package #2), she felt like family. I am looking forward to taking her back to the airport at the end of the week. Thanks, Ella, for the fun conversations, trust, and of course, putting up with me, in addition to your very complimentary post on IG. See you Thursday Ella!
