Spring Break From the Routine
We decided to take a quick holiday out-of-town this week during the kid’s spring break.
Here are a few pics that captured our adventures.
We stopped in Orlando, not for Disney World this time, but Sea World.
I found a hotel close to the fun..
The hotel offered some fun too.
But not like Sea World….
We rode some ‘coasters’..
Scary ones too like the Manta ….
We met Aquaman…
Fed the rays..
and got wet….
Real wet….
We lasted the day there, almost, then hopped in the car and rode down Highway 4 to Tampa, FLA.
I found a nice downtown hotel along their downtown Riverwalk. The park offered lots of ways for the girls to spend some energy!
…..climbing stuff!
The next morning we ventured into Busch Gardens.
We tackled all their great roller coasters and then set out on a safari across the Serengeti …
To have lunch with Cupid…
The lead female giraffe in the herd. She was very friendly ….and hungry..
Here she is imitating a new coaster at Busch Gardens, the Cobra.
She said more people come to see her then ride those silly ‘coasters.
And to see her oldest daughter too..
We found ways to get wet there too!
Wet and cold….from the Congo River
The park also offered some more photo ops.
Like from my Medusa in the family.
And my oldest embracing her ‘kitty’ side..
And just plain being cute…
That’s about it for now knuckleheads.Ā Its back to the same ol’ routine tomorrow.Ā I’ll try to do a better job next time.
Stay tuned as our next trip may be a bit further south into the Caribbean!
Have a wonderful week and a great Easter!
(PS….I am concocting this post on my phone while still on my vacation. Any resizing of pics or grammatical mistakes will have to be fixed when I get back behind a keyboard)
